City-specific sourcing
Bogotá, Medellín, Cartagena, Cali, Barranquilla and Santa Marta are treated as distinct talent markets, not one national pool.

Colombia
Colombia trains hospitality professionals across five distinct hubs, each with its own strengths. We source against the hub that matches your property.
Colombia is not one talent pool but several. Bogotá produces corporate and business-hotel professionals used to high-volume city operations. Medellín has become a hub for boutique and lifestyle hospitality, with a strong culinary training scene. Cartagena and Santa Marta supply beach-resort and heritage-hotel talent already fluent in serving international leisure guests, while Cali and Barranquilla contribute F&B and events experience from a dense domestic hospitality market.
San Andrés adds a smaller but relevant pool of island-resort professionals accustomed to seasonal, all-inclusive service patterns. Colombian hospitality schools — public and private — turn out graduates with structured technical training in food service, front office and housekeeping, and English levels have risen steadily as international chains have expanded in the country.
We source city by city rather than treating Colombia as a single market, because a Cartagena resort supervisor and a Bogotá conference-hotel duty manager are prepared for different operations, even if both are excellent hires for the right property.

Relationships with Colombian hospitality training institutions surface graduates with structured technical foundations.
Spoken English is assessed directly rather than relying on self-reported CV levels, which vary widely by city.
